Neurosurgery

Dr. Richard Wohns is a board certified neurosurgeon who completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Washington under Dr. Arthur Ward.  Dr. Wohns has been in private practice in Washington State since 1983.  He founded Neospine which offers a complete palette of leading-edge neurosurgical and interventional pain management services, plus diagnostic techniques.  Neospine offers minimally invasive and outpatient spine surgery, complex spine surgery, brain tumor surgery, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and deep brain stimulation, plus a myriad of interventional pain management techniques and MRI imaging.
Dr. Wohns is a pioneer in outpatient spine surgery and has published scientific papers and book chapters on many aspects of outpatient spine surgery, plus presented at scientific meetings worldwide.   Dr. Wohns designed and built one of the first outpatient spine surgery centers which is located in Neospine's Brain & Spine Center in Puyallup, Washington.
